Hey Boss, you mentioned Alissa having no electricity from drone strikes a couple weeks ago – is she in Ukraine?
It got me wondering whether you speak both English and Russian. English must be your first language, certainly, since you write so well.

Alissa is still in Ukraine, but relatively safe. She stays outside the cities in villages where there are no “targets”. The problem is the villages don’t get as much electricity as the city. She has the option to live in apartments in the city with friends, but those are not quite as safe.
My russian is not good. Everything is done through a translator.

Hey, Boss, thanks for the reply. It’s fascinating to learn that it’s done through a translator – I presume you mean a text translator, not a human translator. I guess they’ve come a long way – google translate was pretty funky when I was a kid.
I just wish I had a little more motivation to keep up on my Russian studies… it’s hard to, with such easy alternatives.
